What made you want to join Harrison Associates?
Harrison Associates offered me the opportunity to help continually develop a service at an industry-leading company and this was a challenge I was very excited to accept.
What are you most excited to explore in your new role?
Being part of a clinical management team that has a variety of specialisms, working together with a shared vision of market leading case management and expert witness services. I am excited by the can-do approach and autonomy to bring new ideas to the discussion table.
Tell us one thing people don’t know about you?
I have aphantasia – I cannot see images in my mind
What would you say is your most valuable skill?
If I don’t know the answer to something, I want to find out. This extends into never accepting that the best approach cannot be improved further. This extends to both humanistic and service approaches and I like to think I am enthusiastic in helping colleagues and clients to recognise and develop their strengths.
What new perspectives do you bring to the business?
I have worked with both children and adults of all ages across various settings and from a variety of different backgrounds, giving me a holistic insight into the multi-factorial contributors to successful interventions and the barriers that can be experienced. I have always tried to adopt the philosophy that a service adapts to meet the needs of its clients, rather than delivering care in a service focussed manner and promoting this philosophy in others.
We can’t wait to watch Matt’s journey as part of the fast-growing Harrison Associates team!
